I feel very uncomfortable with calling myself an artist. I always feel like people use this term so quickly without even knowing what it means to create a true piece of art. so, let’s just say i am an illustrator. I was born in a small town near Munich / Germany, but after having lived in England and Spain for a while i finally ended up in Berlin, even though i am not sure for how long i will live here. besides working on my images i also write articles for the spanish magazine Belio.
 I guess what i am most interested in, and what ultimately serves as the inspiration for all my work is the idea of misbalance and imperfection. something is broken, maybe in the past, or maybe in the present, and the results sooner or later will always emerge inside the human psyche. i create dolls or hybrids, because i am fascinated with the freud’s idea of the “uncanny”. i want to create a feeling of irritation inside the people who view my work, maybe to evoke something inside them they were not aware of, memories of a pain they formerly had repressed and they don’t even know what it means. i have become obsessed with origami and the strive for divinity it holds within. the process of creation and the idea of being able to open it up again, uncovering it layer for layer: like psychoanalysis.

I am a 21 years old Graphic Designer, i work at GUSTO IDS (Perugia - ITALY - www.studiogusto.com). My works spaces between Old and new design eras, from vintage to web 2.0 like. I'm specialized in logo creation and advertising.

On the 28th of August my Michael Jacskon Artwork Tribute was exposed in Bucharest for the MJ TRIBUTE EXHIBITION (http://mjexhibition.blogspot.com/) and also i'm the #53 in BOOTB Success Rating ISSUE of 2009

By day I'm a mother of two wonderful kids. By night I'm a cut paper illustrator. I graduated with a BFA in illustration in 2002 and shortly after started a family and ventured into freelancing illustration when everyone sleeps. Over the past few years, I've focused on freelance illustrations for clients seeking personal keepsakes. This included full-sized illustrations of a loved one, invitations for parties, and illustrations for personal scrapbooks. I've designed handmade ornaments, magnets, and notebooks to sell in my etsy shop so that people can enjoy my work.

Currently, I'm designing rubber stamps for STAMPING BELLA. I'm also created artwork to be licensed out by IMAGEZOO. I have several ideas for children's books and hope to go back to school for my Master's in Creative Writing.

I live in Milwaukee, Wisconsin with my talented husband, my two kids, two cats and a new puppy. We collect DVDs, video games, books, comics, toys and paper. We all enjoy superheroes, cartoons, and homemade cupcakes and cookies.

Depois de muito tempo sem atualizações, voltei com o blog, para destacar alguns jobs legais e informações para quem curte design e afins.

Para reinaugurar, estou postando uma ilustra que foi comprada para produção de uma camiseta para a loja LocaMadre de um camarada chamado Rodrigo. Não vejo a hora de lançar a loja e a camiseta =D.
